Conewago Inn

Today was the 3rd time in 3 weeks that I have stopped at the Conewago Inn for lunch. I have to say that it is my new favorite restaurant. The food is out of this world good. Today I had the tomato soup and a chicken sandwich with fries. The soup was amazing. Probably the best I have ever had. The chicken on the sandwich was very juicy and seasoned to perfection. The special bbq sauce they give you is incredible. A little spice and very different but good flavor. The fries are hand cut and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is rustic and clean. My server was very attentive and took great care of me and the prices are reasonable. I am definitely coming back for more. If you don't visit the Conewago you are missing out on one of the best restaurants in the area!

Good food but takes forever to get served. Would not recommend for a short lunch break.Update:I went there 4-5 months ago around 3 times. The first two times took 40 minutes. The last time took close to an hour. I understood it seemed that the kitchen was taking a long time and not the servers. If you believe that this has improved and the food should be served in less than 20-30 minutes, I will come eat here again and update my review.

I have always enjoyed going to the Inn. The food is outstanding!! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Did I say the food was outstanding?!!!!
